A New Englander moves to New Mexico and writes about a number of things
That is so sad. To find her owners and have them not be able to take her. I liked the story though ...
JC, this makes me think about all the untold dog stories that only they know. Our Leny was an "unclaimed stray" in Ohio, and was brought to New Hampshire from a kill shelter. We look into her eyes and murmur, "Unclaimed stray? How could that be?"
I loved this. It does make me wonder how many stories are out there just like this. The lady that ran the Sanctuary was a wonderful person to have gone way beyond the point of duty to discover that this dog had had a family. It is touching and it's sad but it does show human ingenuity. Very touching story. Thanks for posting it.
Anyone that would like to help the Kelley family get a place that would allow dogs, please go to this website:http://ellaextrodianary.viviti.com/Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
