Good News Tuesday: Using Natural Elements to House the Homeless

The California Institute of Earth Art and Architecture (Cal-Earth) looks at housing design and development for the world's homeless people. Click below to view, as the website states: "Making of a Dream", in which award-winning architect and humanitarian Nader Khalili asks, "How can we build shelters for people in the world who have no money?"

Wow, how wonderful to imagine building low-cost homes that are both functional and beautiful! I liked your adobe house poem, Clair. And I look forward to reading about the historic home you're in the process of buying.
