Blue, Blue July Sky for Skywatch

I didn't do anything to the color in these photos--this is the color of our blue, blue July sky here in the Mesilla Valley of New Mexico.

Blue sky with sunflowers

Blue sky with onion harvest

For skies of all colors all over the world, be sure to visit Skywatch Friday.

  5. I love the contrast between the blue sky and sunflowers. Nice clear blue sky and then came some clouds.

  10. Whatever is going on in Mexico, the sky is still a bright blue. Those flowers just gives it the right touch.

  11. I love those blue skies, we have them like that here in Colorado too. The hike in your post below looks awesome, but I certainly wouldn't try it in midsummer. I tend towards the higher-altitude hikes this time of year, as they're much cooler.

  17. That blue sky is a good contrast to the sunny faces of the flowers. Is it hot there?

  18. Barb, it is hot, hot, hot here.

Ben, the neighbors agree my "tornado" was probably a microburst--the storm was fierce, the damage quite localized (just our road). Pix coming on the blog next week.
