I have driven by the house a few times since moving back to Manchester and there is a barn/garage now where the "connector" betwwen the house and barn used to be. This is just my opinion, but I don't like it. It is wood colored and doesn't keep with the old colonial look of the house that we all worked so hard on to restore. Oh well, what can you do? Not everybody has the same taste. Judy- AMEN SISTA!!!(Lol). Removing wallpaper is an awful job that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy!!!! I wish the stuff was never invented! In my opinion there is no need for it. I have yet to see any wllpaper that isn't tacky! I guess you raised me right mom!!! There isn't much upkeep and that gives us a lot of free time.

I think the new owner is young and energetic enough and has enough money to keep up with the demands of that old house. It is funny, though, to think of all those rooms being inhabited by just one person.

He has kept The Pretty Room just the same--curtains and all--although he has (gasp!) a TV in there.clairzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12076402619649343527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024200559736996534.post-54806405585156240602009-01-22T15:09:00.000-07:002009-01-22T15:09:00.000-07:00i know you are so happy in your new home, but it se...i know you are so happy in your new home, but it seems so wrong to know and picture anyone else living in your old house.Akkirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12448133755067849396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024200559736996534.post-70684934200240007572009-01-21T23:06:00.000-07:002009-01-21T23:06:00.000-07:00This has been so fun to read!
