Road Trip for Skywatch

Beez has to travel around the state of New Mexico quite a bit. Sometimes I get to go with him. A recent trip took us across the prairie...


... through some hilly country...



... and across some mountains.

    So much varied scenery, but always the puffy clouds sailing in a blue sky. I quite like that bit of sameness!

    I put a link to the pronunciation of 'dreich' on my Skywatch post. It was difficult to find something. Plenty of sound clips for Gaelic, but not Scots. Hmm, a project for my retirement?

    More to love about New Mexico--big sky, clear air, scent of conifers, pretty clouds. Your photos always remind me of how nice it is to live out in the open, especially when I feel like I'm buried in trees. It's not that I don't love trees, but I'm essentially a desert rat, and actually enjoy the fall, when the sky starts opening up.
