Please get this thing off me... |
Little Pete has been very patient. In spite of a tiny glitch (the name of this peculiar
recipe will make everything clear), his recent Necessary Operation was a success. His stitches are out and he is free of the awful lampshade hat he wore and used as a weapon against pushy pack members and unwary human shins.
I just had to post one last photo of his dirty little face framed in that awful thing. Note the ever-wagging tail. He's a good boy.
Awww...bless his little doggy heart! What a cutie he is---so glad he has recuperated and is free of the dreaded lampshade. He is a lucky little dog to have such a loving human and canine family. (I can't remember if you have a cat, Clair. If so, I hereby add "feline" to above description.)

So cute that Little Peepetely.
ReplyDeleteOh we've lived with those necessary evils too. Love the new soft versions. A lot easier on four and two leggeds!
ReplyDeletePete looks so much like the little dog we had when I was a child. Her snout was a bit sharper, but the size and color was about the same. Pete is adorable, and your pictures make me smile!
ReplyDeleteOh, I always feel sorry for dogs when I see them having to wear "the hat". Glad all is well now. Really cute dog, you have...
ReplyDeleteHow could you resist those pleading eyes.!! He is adorable,I am glad he has his lampshade removed,so is he,I should imagine.!!
ReplyDeleteI love dogs and would not be without our Charlie,he is so loyal and brings me great joy and companionship and we both enjoy our afternoon walks together.
Loved the photograph of him.
Carolyn.
