A reminder that spring is on its way

Look at what is blooming out on our front porch...

... and look at what will soon be blooming!

The first day of spring is one thing,
and the first spring day is another.
The difference between them is
sometimes as great as a month.

Wow ... my daffs are trying to make it up out of the ground. We've had a warm Winter and they are a bit early ...

I don't have any hyacinths this year, but my daffs have buds (as HC said, it's been a warm Winter). Even so, Spring can't come too soon!

Flowers are the best harbingers of spring. Bring 'em on!

That is a lovely, lovely color. My Mom brought me a primrose for Valentine's; it's such an uplifting little flower. Enjoy your spring to come!

Oh my goodness well lucky you! After about 8"-9" of snow last night it will be a while before we see flowers! However, today it's supposed to be 40 degrees so there's always hope!
