Adobe Moon for Skywatch

Just a simple photo of the moon
hanging up in a misty sky
over our adobe chimney

Simple, yes

but it took us a long time
and a twisting road
to get here

to our little mud house
in the pecan orchard
surrounded by mountains
and sky

and sky

and sky

For moons and stars and skies and sunshine from everywhere, go to Skywatch Friday.

Such a beautiful capture, Clariz! And love your words! Absolutely perfect shot for the day! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! By the way, there has been a real change in the feel of your blog since you moved, and you sound so much happier than you did before and I think that's wonderful!

Nice work.

Your header reminds me of a Hobbit House. :)

I don't think it gets much better than moon photos from the desert, and I agree that the angle makes the shot. Thanks for this, Clair. It's setting up the weekend rather nicely.

There is a lot of peace and contentment in that photo and verse.
