A few weeks ago, I showed you this yarn, the Bodega Bay colorway of Mini Mochi, which I got from Jimmy Beans Wool. I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy Beans--the orders come promptly and in perfect condition--and, they give free shipping coupons, too.
Here are the socks I knit, my second pair now. I tried out a little lace pattern, but I must have lost my place a few times, as the lace wanders a bit.
In my knitting group, we discuss whether socks should match exactly when multicolored, or if they should be spontaneous and random. I guess you can see which side I am on!

These are so beautiful. Anyone wearing your socks is going to be walking into walls all the time because they'll be spending all their time looking at their feet!!
So what colors for the next pair? I can't wait to see!
Next is Violets Rainbow and after that Tropicale. I love the colors of these yarns!
Those are just lovely. Who are they for?
Margie, I'm making them for me. When I get a little more confident, I'll start making some socks for Christmas presents.
I LOVE them....and if folks are spending that much time starring at my socks, well, they need to get some needles and yarn and make their own!
The cotton yarn is beautifully coloured and the socks look very good. Well done!
they look great you did a wonderful job!
Thank you all for your kind comments. I hope you all are knitting socks right now!
Joyful, I should have mentioned that the yarn I used for these socks is 80% merino wool (very soft) and 20% nylon (for strength).
Oooh! You did an outstanding job on them. Wowza!

NIce job! I like random and I love the colors.
I'm finally getting around to reading all your sock adventures. I only make socks for myself because not one else appreciates the time and effort! Besides, my kids live in CA. I have some Mini Mochi waiting for my next pair--isn't it yummy?
