We went to Shakespeare, New Mexico
It is a ghost town
Perfect for October
The skies were clear
The vistas were pure Old West
All around us we saw
Pieces of the past
The air was so clear
You could smell the history
We looked down at ourselves
and
were surprised
to find that we still looked like
people living in the 21st century

You sure had some beautiful blue skies. Here the skies have been hazy, I keep wishing for some breezy weather to blow clean air our way.
'You could smell the history'--that's what I love about the clear air out west. Your photos are exceptional.

Ewok, this is pretty much what our sky looks like year round. We get terribly excited on cloudy days, always hoping for a drop of rain. Sometimes that's all we get: A drop!
Cannot get over how blue that sky is. I love seeing that sun shine too. LOVE your new header photo. Great words and pics.I appreciated them.
Incredible blues you have there. Old Will himself would be proud to put his name to it, ghost town or not.
