Those hollyhocks just seem to get better every year and, best of all, they do it on their own with no help from me! The yellow flowers are on the Desert Bird of Paradise Tree/Shrub, also known in our yard as The Bertie Memorial Tree, received as a gift to be planted in the memory of our little dog Bertie Pierre.
I'm crazy about hollyhocks and these are gorgeous! I MAY be in Santa Fe housesitting during the month of July.

I love that top quote Clair! Your place looks SO lovely w/ all the color! I'm working on getting moved in to my new place & cleaning out the studio at school for the end of the semester.
