I love when the farmer floods the pecan orchards surrounding our house. They look like this.
Or, they can be rotated to look like this. You can hardly tell that this is upside-down, or can you?
Using the same upside-down view and some of the special effects at
Picnik, they can also look like this...

Great shots... and fun playing! It's nice to see so much water in the desert, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteWOW, VERY COOL!!
ReplyDeleteYou are having too much fun today aren't you ...
ReplyDeleteI do love the reflections of your Pecan Orchards. My own cherry trees have turned my driveway all pink. It seems as soon as they bloom, it's rainy and windy and I get this pink world.
Good to see you enjoying yourself!..... the original works fine for me however, you can't beat flat water and blue skies!... well spotted and well captured!....:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
ReplyDeleteHard to tell which one is upside-down.
Terrific reflections and great ones for the day!! I can tell that you're having fun!! I love it! Isn't it great to realize you can still get excited about "things" and have fun exploring? This is what keeps us young and having fun! Keep it up! And have a fun filled weekend!

nice shots!!! Have a great weekend! Hoping you can visit @ my little corner.
ReplyDeleteYou found a good image to experiment with. That flooded orchard made a nice reflective surface.
ReplyDeleteLots of fun! I love the first two photos, Clair.

Beautiful image; amazing how it looks almost the same upside down. I enjoyed all of your creative variations too. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots...I am always drawn to reflections. I see good shots every day I have to pass by because they are reflections in streams and ponds along the canal on the way to work (it's on a highway). Love that you had such a good time with one shot...and shared!
ReplyDeleteIt can be interesting to play with the colours like this! I never think of it, though, so I was surprised to see what you came up with!
ReplyDeleteyou're really having fun here and I'm liking the results. your image is serene. I'm unfamiliar with the practice of flooding pecan fields but it makes for lovely reflections. I'd find myself looking forward to this every year!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections.
ReplyDeleteGreat refections and isn't it fun to "mess around" with the different applications. Nice work. Have a great weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot and reflection! Great work
