Beez was looking into the kitchen the other morning to see how the homemade muffins were coming along. All he found was an empty room, a half-assembled batter, and a swinging screen door. Stepping out onto the porch, he saw me scampering down the road to get the best shot of this glorious sunrise.
The differences are subtle, but here is the same scene, a moment later...

Yep, that's one of those drop everything, grab the camera and run sunrises! I love how the sunlight pours in between the mountains.

We all have to do whatever it takes to capture the sky when we can. It changes so fast. You did a super job capturing these two versions.
the breakfast can wait, but when it's ready, I'll have a cuppa tea with my muffin please.
Chores must wait when such a sight presents itself.
As for my Mono Lake sunset, it is spooky. I almost wish I had waited for the end of October to post it.
