Beautiful photo and haiku. My big sister is so talented!!

The photo at the top of your blog brings a smile to my face every time I see it. Is that Cody, Leny, Petey and Weetz I see glowing at you?

Emma is there somewhere too, Auntie. Somebody blinked. I love that Cody was captured on his favorite windowsill.

I'm thinkin' that the State of New Mexico ought to hire you for PR purposes. This is just spectacular, Clair--postcard perfect, but not sentimental.

I kind of know how you feel about broken cloud promises, too.

Beautiful picture, frightening words Clair. When will you ever get rain?

Our skies are rather uniform gray-blue again, so at first I was thinking I envied you. But then I read what you said and decided I could live with mine quite well.

Gorgeous photo!

Our monsoon season started off well, but it seems to have dried up already. No rain for the past week, although we see clouds and hear thunder.
The little bits of green grass have turned brown and some odd purple weed is sprouting in the pasture instead. sigh.
We need steady rain so badly here in New Mexico.
