Oh my goodness...those peaches look absolutely perfect. I can just imagine the juice running down my chin after a bite. Your sister clearly has a gift---her garden is lovely. I'm partial to the morning glories trailing up the pretty ribbon. I love morning glories, even if they do get a little out of control here at the Doublewide Ranch.
Thank you for coming back to my blog to say hello, Clair. I don't know how you knew I'd updated---I think maybe "Clair" stands for "clairvoyant." :-) I really do appreciate your kind words so much.
Oh my gosh, only you could find poetry in my garden. Thank you for allowing me to see my beloved garden in an entirely new light. I'm going outside right now to appreciate my new garden.
p.s. It's true... I don't follow direction very well. I over water, I overfeed, I overconverse with my plants. The only ones I don't overwater are the succulents and cacti. I think I get away with such frequent feeding because I water so much that it leaches out a lot of the food. Wasteful? I suppose, but if my plants are happy, I'm happy. Thank you again for enjoying my little container garden.
OMG, not only do I see wonderful pictures but I can see a peach cobbler in them. Congrats to Jean on doing such a great job. I hope she is available to do some consulting work for us when we get there in a few months!
Well, as the owner of a black-kiss-of-death thumb, I must say that your sister has some fine peaches growing there! I can tell, because I've seen nice peaches at fruit stands and farmers markets. Unfortunately, the tree in my yard is coming down, as it has never been known to produce any edible fruit. Grrrrr.
The entire garden is lovely, and you did a great job capturing it for us!
What a beautiful celebration of your sister's garden - a garden so different from the ones I'm used to, so the images are all the more startling and fresh.

The peaches are a work of art.
