A New Englander moves to New Mexico
Well, those photos may not be beautiful, but they are interesting in their own unique way. We traveled over 700 miles this weekend, most of it on the highway and I noticed that even on that rather bland interstate landscape, there were moments of beauty to witness. Light and shadow, unexpected wildflowers, birds weaving a path through powerlines...
Well, I'm from calif, but I don't know where 580 is! Though I have seen lots of traffic over crowding & industry in many places there. Though lots of beauty as well... guess we have to take the bad with the good... though I'd much prefer just the good!Hey Clair, I bought some PECANS from the farmers mkt last weekend- the vendor was from Las Cruces! Probably the best Pecans I've ever tasted!
Beth, I have a feeling that you always see beauty wherever you are.Becky, look on a map south of Oakland. I-580 runs across the state east through Livermore, then angles down and joins I-5 to run down through the Central Valley. At least those are the parts we traveled on.
Oh, and Becky--just think, those pecans might have come from just over our fence!
