We have clouds in the morning now. You wouldn't think that would be something to get excited about, but it means that we are now in monsoon season. In a place that gets only eight inches of rain a year, every rainfall is a celebration: I hear laughing voices outside whenever it rains.
More about the monsoon next week. In the meantime, have a great weekend and a Happy Fourth of July. And a happy Canada Day to all you Canadians, one day late.

Nothing like a few clouds to make the sunrises and sunsets even more beautiful.
Your new blog format looks like it allows larger pictures...isn't it time to start showing off your beautiful images in all their splendor?
Thanks for the much needed kick in the pants, Linda. I've made some adjustments to the layout and to that photo in particular. Now it is displayed in a larger format and is even bigger when clickable.
To tell you the truth, I was never sure how to do this. The only way I could change the display size was to go in and fiddle with the HTML. Do you know of any other approach with blogger?
Much better!
The only way I know of to adjust the size on my blog photos is to change the html. It's a p.i.t.a. but now that I've done it 80 million times, it's no big deal. I'm going to send you an email to show you which code I change in addition to the image width.
(wv code = mouseviv HA!)
How beautiful! Love the reflections.
Happy weekend.

I'm lovin' your pics more and more. Really beautiful!
Gorgeous...your clouds are pretty. Ours are full of tons of rain and it's another gray day in western WA. Should keep the fires down on the 4th since it's mid 50's and drizzly. Ugh...it totally reminds me of why I am moving to NM!
great photo and i love the reflections.
