Scene from a Road Trip

Mountains, cabin, limo, and mystery

I love everything about this scene. I'm partial to log cabins and I always have been. Is this one being built, or is it falling apart? It never looks any different to me.

I love the view of the mountains through the front door. What happened to the front door, by the way?

And that limo--why is it there? Is it ever moved? It is parked in the very same place whenever I pass by the Blue Moon Bar in Radium Springs, which is where I took this photo. I couldn't get close enough to read the blue sticker without trespassing. What could it possibly say?

I love a good mystery.

Very cool photo! I think you should write a piece of fiction about it. I'm serious.

When I lived out west there were lots of half build houses. I always wondered what the deal was.

That is odd- the limo is always there? Interesting.

I'm with you - love a mystery. it seems that someone simply stopped building. changed their mind maybe, or ran out of money? or maybe they decided it was too windy of a spot after all. the limo is a real puzzle. I love this shot.

Yes! Here it is, your inspiration. I wait patiently here in the rain and stormy weather to read your story!

Hmmm, I would say it is being built....the tags are still on the ends of the logs laying on the roof that tell the assembler where the logs go. Door isn't there cuz it isn't finished enough to have a door....recently poured foundation. Maybe the blue sign on the limo is a "for sale" sign because the limo must go to generate funds for the finishing of the cabin?

Very unusual indeed! I would have walked right up there to check it out...but that's just the way I am. hehe!
