Spring greens |
... we stopped to admire the new grass and foliage at this farm in Mesilla...
Spring greens |
... and to watch the beautiful cattle munching away at... spring greens! And all of it was happening under a beautiful southern New Mexico blue sky.

The greens and the blues in the sky are both great.
Nice to see so much green in southern NM!I'd say those are happy cows. I haven't been to the farmer's mkt in sometime, but I will head there saturday to pick up greens to make a delicious salad for a get together on Sunday. Went & saw "Dirt- the Movie" last night at the Farmer's mkt pavilion... see if if you get the chance, I think you'd enjoy it. (you can watch the trailer on Youtube.)
The perfect, delightful picture of spring! I do love all of that green and beautiful blue skies! Marvelous captures for the day, Clariz! Enjoy your day!

Becky, I hadn't heard of "Dirt; the Movie," and have added it to my list of things to watch. Thank you for the tip!
Too early yet for salad greens here, maybe next week. We have to be quick as the weather often rushes from winter to summer heat with little time to grow nice lettuce. I found carrots, beets, cabbage and the like plus the first strawberries from over on the coast.
Beatuiful! It is so green down there already!
How lovely, all that green to nibble of for humans and animals alike.

Noting like a blue, blue sky against a green field. The salad greens look like they are calling for a little crumbles blue cheese and some walnuts!
Beautiful shots, Clariz. I the farm scenes with the pretty skies. Happy skywatching! I hope you have a great weekend. Happy Easter!
Wonderful compositions. The landscape is beautiful.
Spring has finally come to the Ozarks as well. Great capture and theme. Well done.
Gorgeous stuff, Claire. I'm not sure what looks yummier--the farm or the produce. I get to harvest my first lettuces today (little stuff, not this big lovely buttery variety), my Earth Day reward. Thanks for posting this at such an appropriate moment.
loving the greens and the vast blue above!
Looks lovely!!
