I'm getting quite a collection of photos taken in the pecan orchard that surrounds our house. Be sure to click on any of the photos to see a slightly larger version.
These first four are winter sunsets.
The next two are of sunrise after rain on two different February mornings.
This one is looking across the road at a neighboring orchard during a February storm. Look carefully and you'll see the double rainbow I was trying to capture.
... and at night. I'm surprised that the sky looks as light as it does in this photo. It was pretty dark outside when I took the picture.
This last one is my favorite orchard photo, also the header of this blog for June. Every time I step outside I see something wonderful that makes me always thankful that we live in this beautiful place.
Just a reminder: You can vote for any (or all) of my entries in the New Mexico Day of Enchantment photo contest every day. The camel, especially, needs your support as he was a late entry!
Go to the main page: http://www.dayofenchantment.com/. When you enter the site for the first time, you will be asked to register. Once you have done so, you can vote for any pix. My five are at http://www.dayofenchantment.com/entries/46443. Thanks for your help.

All of your photos are beautiful.
Your Pecan Orchard pictures are fantastic! My favorite is the first sunrise picture with the pretty sky color reflected in the water.
Oh, Clair, those pictures are making me SO want to be there NOW. We're working on it, slowly but surely, and I am soooooooo impatient.
I can truly understand why you are inspired. Really great images and what a lovely place.
