To Dripping Springs and Back Again, for Skywatch

Dripping Springs Natural Area is just 10 miles from Las Cruces, and is a place to go for peace and birdsong and some pretty nice views.

Be sure to check out Skywatch for photos of skies all over the world.

Those stony outcrops on top of the mountains look great. And I like the leaves in the foreground.

One of the things I like about living in the west, the land is not hidden by a blanket of green.
Your header is beautiful.

I really like the terrain. The city is lovely with the mountains in the background. And I like the way you can see for miles.

Oh, those mountains that spring out of nowhere, and the city nestled at their foot.

Beautiful and interesting! Similar coloring to my local scenery, but your boulders and hills are shaped differently.

I have always had a special liking for the kind of places you've displayed in your pictures... away from the world, peace & silence :-)
