Cloud Shadows, for Skywatch

Taken near sundown on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in South Central New Mexico

I never tire of the skies in New Mexico. While I've seen our mountains here casting their shadows against clouds, this is the first time I've captured cloud shadows in the sky.

For scenes of skies everywhere, be sure to visit Skywatch Friday.

Becky, I just read yesterday that the Las Conchas fire is finally out. Just because we don't see these fires in the news every day doesn't mean they aren't still going. I hope you find clean skies in Santa Fe when you get home.

Wonderful Clair! I've never seen that -- but if any place would have outstanding different skies, you are definitely living in it!
